Yet another strong field for a yet another perfect night for racing. We were graced by TV stars this week. Jason Cattermole, Estelle Rodgers and Symon Lewis recently seen in a Ford car advert.

Youths
Super Youth Freddie Wright claimed his victories in all under twelve events with Max Bergin as usual getting closer and closer, not forgetting Charlotte Cole-Hossain with a great ride in the devil to claim 2nd. Logan De Monchaux-Irons, Ned O’Regan and Matthew Cannon rode brilliant swapping places in every race showing they are giving it everything to win!
Over twelve’s saw Tristan Lambert take control this week with strong victories in majority of events. Still pushing hard to make a name for himself Arben Zilci rode well to win the hare and hounds.

Seniors
With the sad news about Kieran Laurie out of action with a broken collar-bone and Euan Cattermole out with a Virus it was left to Tao Geoghegan-hart to show the ‘oldies’ how to race. With a strong ride against the A riders Kieran and Euan have something to think about when they are fighting fit and racing again.

Strong riding from Bryan Taylor saw him take easy victories is many of tonight’s races. Symon Lewis raced hard with many efforts to make a move on his own off the front Claiming 2nd in all but 2 events.
Battle for third is hotting up with Solly and Cattermole determined to beat each other with Jules Birks returning to form claiming 3rd in the Win and Out.

Win and out saw a great move in the B’s from Toby Blackman. Attacking at the right time to just stay away from the bunch gallop for first place.

This week saw the first of many women’s events which was joined with the over 50’s dash. Estelle in good form came face to face with last year’s rival Jim Robinson. Jim in form himself saved his effort to the last minute just getting around Estelle in the final stretch. U16 rider Zoe Lewis, has been in the mix in the senior’s this year and put in a classy move to take third.

The last race saw the return of the 20k. From the gun Symon Lewis attacked with Taylor and Solly in tow. In a short amount of time the three lapped the field with little amount of effort. Bryan stormed ahead in the final stages to finish alone with Symon winning the sprint for 2nd over Solly for third. Will they have it all their way next week? Stay tuned…
