FHHV are involved in helping stage a number of the events at HHV. Whether it be helping set up, pack up, face paint, run a bar or cook a BBQ we're happy to turn our hand to anything for the good of HHV. The organisers of Muddy Hell, The Good Friday Meeting and Dave Creasy
6 have all given generous donations to the FHHV funds in appreciation of our support. FHHV also provide volunteer support to the regular HHV working parties that help maintain HHV.
26th October - Working Party and Polo Court Opening
With the unfortunate cancellation of Muddy Hell, hopefully most people have the date free. Put that time back into Herne Hill Velodrome, help us fix up bikes, make the site a little tidier and help with digging the cyclo-cross course.
Working starts at midday. Bring any relevant tools, though Herne Hill has pleanty to use on the day. Also, bring a firework for the display alongside the bonfire and bbq at 5pm.
The London Hard Court Bike Polo Association will also be officially opening the brand new bike polo court in the track centre. There will be demonstration games and opportunities to try it out yourself!
