Herne Hill Velodrome Needs You! - Working Party Saturday 12th November
On Saturday 12th November there will be a working party at the track. Herne Hill Velodrome is run entirely by volunteers, without whom we wouldn’t be able to operate. So come down and get involved - the more people the merrier. Work will start at 1pm and run until it’s dark.
This was originally due to take place this Saturday, but we moved it because of the bad weather forecast.
There are lots of different jobs that need doing including fixing bikes, erecting the new marquee, sewing grass seed, re-enforcing the inner fence and generally tidying up the grounds and sweeping away leaves. So anyone, old or young, should find something to help out with.
Teas and Coffees will be available throughout the working party and as the day ends and the sun sets we’ll finish off with some fireworks and a bonfire.
This is a great opportunity for all user’s to get involved and give something back to the track.
