Spectators
The Herne Hill Velodrome is one of the best places to come and watch the sport of track cycling in action. Even with its 100+ year history it is still one of the UK’s best cycling venues and we host more open events than any other velodrome in the country. Spectators are always welcome and almost all of our races and events are free to watch. This gives everyone the opportunity to watch top athletes competing against each other.
Some of the best events to watch are those comprising our Super Series, which attracts top riders from the UK and abroad, as well as stars of the future. Many of the events have excellent facilities for spectators too, food, drink and merchandise stalls, commentary and crowd-pleasing racing!
