Instead of having the kids hanging around the house, why not bring them to our holiday club?
The sessions run from 10am to 3pm, and are suitable for children aged 8-16 of all abilities, from complete beginners to track riding and mountain biking, to experienced racers! Riders will be able to choose between mountain-biking and track cycling. All you have to do is choose when you book.
It costs £15 per child per day. Bike and helmet hire included. There is a discounted rate of £10 for riders with their own suitable bikes - eg a fixed wheel, brakeless track bike for track cycling, and a good working condition mountain bike for mountain biking.
What to Bring?
- Lunch: Enough food to fuel a whole day of riding and plenty to drink
- Suitable Clothing: Cycling specific clothing is not essential, make sure you bring a waterproof and warm clothes, particularly for October/February half terms.
- Helmet: If you have your own please bring it with you, if not we have ones you can borrow. Please remove peaks from helmets if you are bringing your own.
- Gloves: Gloves or cycling mitts must be worn at all times when riding. Gloves can be hired or purchased at sign-on.

British Cycling Membership
To use our booking system you will have to create a free British Cycling account. During the booking process the system will ask you if you want to join British Cycling to become a member. This is optional, but did you know members of a Go-Ride club get their first years British Cycling membership free? Why not join one of our resident clubs
2-8 year old sessions
All through the year, including during the holidays, we run balance bike sessions for 2 -5 year olds. These take place every Tuesday at 9-10.30am, and Friday 4-5.30pm (from March 20th 2015). Bike and helmets are avaliable to borrow first come first served. Session costs £3 and parents/guardians must be present. Supported by Strider Bikes
We run non-stabiliser, pedal bike sessions for 4-8 year olds, every Thursdays 5-6pm and Saturdays 1-2pm. Bikes and helmets are avaliable to borrow, first come first served. Session costs £3 and parents/guardians must be present. We charge £1 for bike hire. Supported by Frog Bikes
No need to book for these sessions, but remember use of our bikes is first come first served. Tuesday morning Strider Bikes and Saturday afternoon Frog Bikes sessions run all year round, so you can come along in term time too.
13-18 year old sessions
Every Tuesday during school holidays, 10-3pm, we run a specific session for older riders, giving them separate track time from the younger riders.

Advanced Holiday Coaching
Our successful Thursday Advanced holiday sessions are back offering a fantastic day of training for more experienced 13-18 year olds (U14, U16 and Juniors). Riders should be competent track racers, with competitive experience, for example at Wednesday night Track League.
The whole day programme will include skills sessions based on RSR exercises, supported by Go Ride and Talent Development coaches. There will be hard, full effort training , race situation and skills sessions with dedicated track time aside from the younger riders. After the days training, riders are welcomed to make a full day of it, and come to the evening Derny Training session, which runs 6.30-dark. Coaches will be onsite all day, though riders will be allowed to leave the site during breaks.
These sessions will run on Thursdays during the Easter, Summer Half-Term and Summer Holidays. The timetable will be different to the normal holiday club, to fit around the rest of the group and to allow for dedicated track time and more focussed coaching. Sessions cost £10 (same price as the usual holiday club). We do not ask riders to book in advance for this session, just turn up on the day. The coaches will be stricter this year about whether riders are eligible for the session - you must have raced on the track before and be either Junior, Youth A or Youth B. If you are unsure drop us an email to check.
Please book using the links above. If not booking online, you must bring a completed British Cycling consent form.
