UNDER 8’s Parties:

Our cycling parties, which are for kids under 8, offer an opportunity to improve key cycling skills in a fun and exciting environment led by British Cycling qualified coaches.  The party takes place on our 250m flat inner track and Multi Use Games Area. We can arrange parties for those who can confidently pedal and those who can't. We often host parties with both pedallers and non-pedallers and we aim to use activities that both can take part in together. Attendees who cannot ride a bike independently yet will be given balance bikes. If you would like to shape the content of your Inner Track Party, please let us know the ability of your attendees in advance of the big day and we can ensure that our coaches are prepared for the skill level of those who are coming! Please contact parties@hernehillvelodrome.com

Following the hour-long cycling session, you can use our club room for refreshments/cake organised by yourselves. The hire of the club room is included in the cost when you book and you can access the room free of charge to set up 20 minutes before the end of the cycling session. We do not offer catering so as mentioned above, this is solely down to you. 

RIDER NUMBERS:

The default booking is for up to 10 riders: if you would like to book for more riders please use the ‘add-on’ feature to increase capacity to 20 riders.

We have hire bikes and helmets available for any riders that don’t have their own. This is included in the cost of the session. Helmets and closed-toe shoes must be worn.

OVER 8s Birthday Parties:

You can still book an inner track party for over 8s (especially if some of your riders will be under 8) - but for riders 8+ you may want to consider one of our Track Cycling Birthday Parties. These are not currently bookable online, please contact parties@hernehillvelodrome.com to book.
