We love hosting birthday parties! Whether its a party for kids aged 2-8 on Frog Pedal Bikes and/or balance bikes or those aged 8 and above on our track or mountain biking trails, we can host a birthday party for you. Laughs are guaranteed and cake and celebrations in the club room in the pavilion afterwards are encouraged.

We design our Club & Group Bookings around you and your riders, ensuring that everyone - no matter what their ability - has a safe and enjoyable time at HHV, either on the track, MUGA or extensive off road trails. Whether you are a group of enthusiastic novices, confident club cyclists or simply a group of friends looking for a fun new challenge, we can work with you to ensure it’s a success.

Our Club and Group bookings are typically either 1.5 or 2 hours long and bikes & helmets can be included if required.

Our Corporate Events are enjoyed by a range of companies - big and small - and typically include a track cycling induction, group riding exercises, some fun race scenarios (to get the competitive juices flowing) and then much-needed refreshments from Jan’s Cafe.

In addition to the cycling activities, you can hire our clubroom, with full AV presentation capability and seating for 60 people, either for presentations or simply to socialise.

Cycling is great for building confidence, increasing fitness and providing young people with a lifelong skill that can enrich their lives enormously.

We run a variety of sessions for school children of all ages and abilities; Strider Balance Bike sessions for under 5s, Frog Pedal Bikes for under 8s, Track and Mountain biking sessions for kids aged 8+ as well as Learn to Cycle sessions for anyone who wants to learn how to ride a bike.

HHV is an iconic venue, synonymous with the history of cycling in the UK. With wide open spaces, a wide range of locations, great light and flexible hire options, there’s no better place to film, photograph or host a media day or live broadcast.

Our spacious and versatile Dave Creasy Clubroom - named in honour of the legendary VCL coach - is available to hire independently or alongside a track booking. We can accommodate up to 60 people seated or 100 people standing, it’s fully accessible and we have AV capabilities, making it perfect for club socials, meetings, seminars, courses, corporate events, film nights and more.
