Hey HHVW community,

Now we’ve tied up our big events for the year I’ll be back with more regular comms and events to keep you warm over winter and motivated to ride in these tougher months.
With warmth

BRAND NEW: Women’s Off-Road Session!
Every Wednesday evening, 6:30-8pm.
Our Women’s Off-Road Wednesdays have become so popular we’re making it a permanent fixture! Inspired by the iconic Women’s Track Session (every Sunday), this session will be a fun, friendly space to ride off-road with other women and non-binary people and hone your skills and endurance with the support of a coach.
The session will be most similar to the Gravel Club format – prioritising time spent riding – with opportunities for technique coaching throughout and workshops around specific disciplines and skills will run seasonally or by popular demand. For example Cyclocross will always have a block before the A/W season and Summercross and we will run some Mountain Bike skill specific sessions in the new year. Read more about the session in the link below.
The first session is this Wednesday (12th) so book your spot now!
Thank you condor! ‘Women’s track, Supported by Condor’ – because we truly are.
I wanted to take a moment to thank our Women’s Track sponsor, Condor. Condor have been supporting us since 2021 and it’s about way more than just money. So if you’ve ever wondered what ‘supported by Condor’ means, read on…
Condor is a small brand that make beautiful bikes (track, road, gravel and adventure), offer bike fitting, sell everything you might need as a cyclist, and they’ve been supporting grassroots riding since their beginning. Possibly their best quality is the humans behind the brand, their marketing manager Claire and designer Ben can regularly be found wizzing around HHV as part of the track and cyclocross scenes and they are joyful fixtures in our volunteer pool.
When it comes to Condor Women’s League they always go above and beyond. Mountains of carefully curated prizes, bespoke branding (posters, mugs and our leaders jersey), professional photos that are free for all riders, shouting about us to their network, and even being there on the day as volunteers.
I feel very lucky to have them around for another year and we’re bursting with ideas for how we can work together to get even more women riding track, as well as bigging up the ones that already are. Telling the stories of our Women on track is one thing we’d love to get better at – get in touch if you’d be interested in telling your track story 👋
Condor Women’s League photo archive
Claire has taken the time to put together the past 4 years of Women’s League photos in one place, so you can always look back on the memories!
These are free to download and share but please credit Condor and the photographers when you do.
The Women of HHV Festive 500 2025

You might even recognise some local HHV names on there…

Lizzie Jenkins supporting Women's Aid
Natalie Williamson supporting Choose Love
Samantha Holden supporting Great Ormond Street Hospital
Thea Smith supporting Endometriosis UK
Interested in volunteering? During the F500 it’s lovely to have extra hands and supportive faces around HHV. If you’re interested in being involved in this way please get in touch.
