SLGP is around the corner! 🏁

We have loads of preparations to make: how much beer and ice cream to get, ordering new picnic tables and bins, and recruiting volunteers.
This year we’re on track (ha) to make this our best Grand Prix ever! Become part of our growing legacy and join us as we welcome international cyclists to our humble historical velodrome.

Based on how our beer stocks have been cleared every Friday night, our summercross series has been a smashing success. There’s just one more date left to squeeze out, and we’ve saved the best for last.

WE’RE CROWDFUNDING! 🚀
Off-road cycling is growing and so are we. If you’d like to see more MTB and CX right here in London, please pitch in to our latest crowdfunder.
Long-awaited improvements to the off-road trails are finally scheduled to begin in August, with completion timed perfectly for the start of the upcoming cyclocross season.
This work will bring the existing trails and surrounding areas up to the standard our community needs, while delivering a big boost to local biodiversity. It’s a huge step forward but like many community-led projects, we’ve hit a bump: rising costs have pushed us over budget. That’s where you come in.
VOLUNTEERS WANTED 🙌
HHV has a glowing community, all thanks to people like you pitching in. If you’re able to contribute a couple hours of your time, either in assisting with races (we’ll teach you everything you need to know!), or helping events manager Pete out with our bigger events (SLGP volunteers wanted), we’d be much obliged.
NEW OFF-ROAD WHATSAPP GROUP 🚵
If you want to be the first to know about our off-road events, training sessions, trail conditions, special sessions, league races - anything to do with CX and offroad riding - have we got news for you! HOLIDAY CLUBS begin 🌞
But it’s not too late to join! Whether you’re a Flora wannabe or just want to get the kids some fresh air, we’ve got both track and MTB sessions to satisfy.
Dates: Now till 27 August, Monday - Friday
Age Group: 8-16 years old
Session Duration: 10am-3pm with a 1hr lunch break
Extend the day: Optional add-ons for early drop off/late pick up
Experience level: Beginner to experienced. You just need to be able to ride a bike confidently to take part
PLEASE NOTE: This means no evening youth sessions (except girls’ session Monday 6-7pm)

Track cycling is the perfect next step for current or ex-rowers who miss the thrill of competition but want something more flexible than a full-time rowing programme. We're hosting a special track taster for rowers, and with 25% off the price of a regular track taster!

Black Unity Bike Ride 2025 💯

The London BUBR is set to finish in Dulwich Park this year with BUBR Fest, a massive celebration of food, music and culture in full flow from 12 - 5pm.
This family friendly festival is open to everyone whether you are cycling or just want to go to soak up the vibes.
HHV are proud to be on hand to play our part in the festivities with a fun cycling course for kids so come on down and say hi! Balance bikers and pedallers both welcome.
