If you’re planning on coming to HHV for the South London Grand Prix, we’ve got some helpful information for you.

Getting to Herne Hill Velodrome

There is no parking available on site for ticket holders, unless you need accessible parking for you and your party.  Make your journey sustainable and come by bike, foot or train.

Why not try a shared use e-bike? Forest are offering the first 500 ticket holders the chance to claim 30 minutes of free riding on the event dates using code: GRANDPRIX30. Please park your shared e-bike on site in the designated zone near the ticket check and not blocking access on nearby streets / driveways.

Site conditions and weather

The weather is looking...variable. Please be prepared for the weather conditions (sunscreen, extra layers etc.)

Food and Drink

Please support the food vendors joining us for the event as well as our on site café and bar - there will be options for all with hot and cold drinks, food and snacks, as well as drinking water refill spots on site. Please bring a refillable water bottle, and NO GLASS is allowed.

Gates Open: 3pm
Afternoon Racing Session: 3.30pm - incl. Women’s Sprint and Omnium, and Men’s Scratch Race
Youth Racing: 5pm - see local Under 10 and Under 12 racers in action
Evening Racing Session: 6pm - incl. Women’s Sprint and Omnium, and Men’s Keirin, Elimination and Madison
Podiums & Prizegiving: 9pm

Friday

Gates Open: 2.45pm
Afternoon Racing Session: 3.15pm - incl. Men’s Sprint and Omnium, and Women’s Scratch Race
Youth Racing: 5pm - see local Under 14 and Under 16 racers in action
Evening Racing Session: 6pm incl Men’s Omnium, and Women’s Keirin, Elimination and Derny
Podiums & Prizegiving: 9pm

With tickets available right up to the day of the event here - please purchase online using Ticket Tailor in advance of the event, there are no sales points on the gate.
